THE NO.1 IN THE BLUE SQUARE LEAGUE

Southport Wanderers Fc was founded by Kasonko Dennis a step son of David Sheekey a long term member of Southport FC in UK. David a member of Trust in Yellow made a trip to Africa to see his family in Najjanakumbi in June 2006. It was not the first trip that made the difference but in November 2007 when David visited Africa agin to see his family.

When David went back to UK he talked to Paul Glendenning – Community Liaison officer about the idea of supplying boots and kits to the kids.
In November 2007 David Sheeky brought one boot and said the others would be sent as soon as possible. The boots were then sent in the Christmas Holidays in 2007. The lads and Dennis were so happy so they named the team Southport Wanderers. The team is managed by Kasonko Dennis who takes care of everything needed.
The lads have then won games against Falcons and Najja lads. All thanks To Southport FC and Trust in Yellow.

The team was formed as a result of improving relations
between UK and Uganda and give the relatively skilled youth in the neighbouring area to have accesories to play good football.

The efforts to bring these youth together is never easy thats why a program was launched make sure the youth in the area who had developed bad behaviors especially in the neighborhood get into shape. Kasonko Dennis has been working close with the boys.

Whilst wholly independent Trust in Yellow works closely with Southport Football Club to achieve their individual and respective objectives.
